9 day, 8 night live aboard Shark Diving trips itinerary.

Generally the weather is beautiful, but occasionally it may effect our itinerary. With good weather a typical 8 night trip on the Dolphin Dream will go as follows. Some trips are shorter with only 6 or 7 nights.

       Day 1)

Departure date, boarding is between 3.00pm-7.00pm. Time to unpack, and familiarize yourself with your floating home for the week. We will be serving dinner onboard this evening. An orientation briefing will be given on emergency procedures and information to ensure you get the fullest enjoyment from of your adventure. We depart West Palm Beach this evening for our overnight cruise to “The Bahama Islands”.

    Day 2)

Wake up to breakfast in the beautiful Bahamas. When Bahamas customs and immigration opens at 9.00am your Captain will get the paperwork completed, and soon after we are on our way. This morning we will be heading North to the prime dive sites. After lunch we'll arrive at the "Anchor Chain" for the first couple of dives. This site is within the "Tiger Beach" area, with a depth of about 6 meters. We will be chumming but not feeding these first few dives. You will see Lemon sharks and the occasional Tiger shark, but mainly these first dives are to get your gear situated, understand our diving procedures, and acclimate yourself to the sharks.

    Day 3)

We will have breakfast around 8am and diving will start at 9am at "Fish Tales" reef site at about 50 ft (15m) of depth.  “Fish Tales” is our prime Tiger Beach site for Tiger sharks and Great hammerheads. We will do about 4 dives this day, and two of these will be shark feeding dives.

    Day 4)

We will continue to dive "Fish Tales" and start the diving day around 9: am everyday. We usually dive twice before lunch. Then a short break after lunch with two more dives in the afternoon.

    Day 5, 6, 7)

More Tiger and Hammerhead feeding and diving at Fish Tales/Tiger beach. There are now two Great Hammerheads that are residence of Tiger Beach area.  We usually see them multiply times during a trip and therefore do not go to Bimini for Hammerheads. We can visit other dive location around Tiger Beach if the group decides they want some variety. We may also spend half a day with friendly wild Spotted Dolphin, if everybody wants to see dolphins.

    Day 8)

Last diving day we spend at Fish Tales feeding and diving with sharks. Then, late on this day we cruise overnight back to West Palm Beach, Florida.

    Day 9)

A light Continental style breakfast will be served on this morning. After clearing US Immigration and Customs at the Port of Palm Beach, we will return to our dock at the marina for your disembarkation, around 10.30am on last day.

 Thank You

Captain Scott Smith
