Tiger Shark and Great Hammerhead season runs from October through May. Water temperatures average around 76F (24C) with highs up to 80F (26.5C) and lows down to 72F (22C).  Air temperatures range from highs up to 82F (28C) and lows occasionally down to 60F (15C). Coolest months are January, February and March. Most divers wear 5mm full suits, hoods and gloves. Hoods and gloves are highly recommended due to the darker “less attractive” colors as well as for warmth and protection.

This Shark Diving is baited and feeding, no cage shark diving with Tiger and Hammerhead. These are not guided dives, nor are there safety divers, only shark handlers. You accept all risk and must be responsible for your own safety.  Every participant will be required to sign a release of liability contract when boarding the vessel.  There will be about 4 dives a day and occasionally night dives.  2 dives a day will be shark feeding dives, and 2 dives a day will be free swimming with the sharks. Dive depth is around 50 feet (15 meters).

The Dolphin Dream offers you the best in live aboard diving with sharks. Our participants say, ”There is no competition!”
